Born in Perak, Ahmad Shahir Zawawi first known to Malaysia's fame scenery when he entered Akademi Fantasia for season 8. The most popular reality shows in Malaysia has brought him to raisehis fame. Along time before, he started his singing career by joining the nasyid group Saujana in 2008 before he left the group just a few months later. He started to worked for himself at his hometown by stopped to continue his study as bachelor in engineering at International University of Islam, Malaysia. Early 2010, he decided to try for an audition for Akademi Fantasia which is later his make it to the 12 finalist. Week after week, Shahir’s gained a thousand of fans took from it participations in AF. Even he is being eliminated on week 7, its clear that Malaysian loves to see Shahir again in competing in AF to the final. He stands calmly sang Biru Mata Hitamku and his lead single Kebahagiaan Dalam Perpisahan, and its fated that night, Shahir is became the champion for the eight season with more 50 percent votes goes for Shahir. From this time, Shahir’s has walked to his new path of life, which is to become an entertainer. In his step of being a star, a lot of sacrifice he has to make to be sure his journey through the art is clean. Backed from the failure and gossip, Shahir’s is potentially to be the next superstar of Malaysia with his good-praise attitude, good looking appearance and his natural talents.
